The Merry Wives of Windsor

The Merry Wives of WIndsor (1602) is one of Shakespeare's laugh-out-loud funniest plays, dependent upon the degree of brilliance by the actor playing Sir John Falstaff. He tries to seduce Mrs. Ford and Mrs. Page simultaneously, and the delightful wordplay exchanges expose his lecherous buffoonery. The ladies get the best of him, and how.
