James O'Keefe

James O'Keefe, though not a well-known author, wrote a wonderful detective crime story, Death Makes a Comeback in 1989. Its manuscript we are able to feature here. After Lucy Welsh is murdered, Lt. Lawrence Peyton and his son, Sgt. Jim Peyton gather clues to solve the mystery. O'Keefe writes a very compelling storyline that keeps his readers on edge. The story's theme, of course: crime does not pay!
